Vision & Mission
The Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association Inc. (SPA) is the provincial professional association representing over 400 member physical therapists in Saskatchewan. SPA is one of 10 provincial branches and 2 territorial councils of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).
The mandate of the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association Inc. is to advance the delivery of physiotherapy services by promoting excellence in education, research and clinical practice.
Our Role
As a provincial branch of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association (SPA) serves as the voice and advocate for physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and PT/PTA students all across Saskatchewan. We are a dynamic healthcare professional organization with over 600 members.
The SPA keeps members informed of current issues, professional development opportunities, and advancements in the physiotherapy profession in Saskatchewan. The Association also responds to requests for information from members and non-members, participates in consultation and advocacy activities with government and other stakeholders on behalf of the profession, and promotes the physiotherapy profession in general.
Membership is open to physiotherapists living in Saskatchewan who meet eligibility criteria and pay annual dues.
