Join our rapidly growing organization and team as we expand our Physiotherapy / Health Services Consultant department – we are looking for part-time/full-time contract Physical Therapists preference in Saskatchewan or Canada remote to join our team. Saskatchewan locations travel and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with clients, care providers and workplaces to gather and confirm physical & cognitive job demands.
  • Review & interpret functional medical information.
  • Perform comparative data analysis on physical demands to functional assessments.
  • Identify data discrepancies & potential positional accommodations.
  • Work closely with clients, employers, and insurance companies.
  • Confirm job demands & create digital job profiles that include a detailed analysis of a client’s physical demands at various occupations & workplaces throughout Canada.
  • Help curate & build the world’s largest database of job descriptions with physical demand descriptions.
  • Develop a structed Graduated Return to Work (GRTW) plan & monitor the GRTW to facilitate a successful outcome.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education /Certification/Degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Kinesiology, Ergonomics or Human Kinetics Required
  • Members in good standing with their Association
  • AE or CCPE Designation preferred or eligibility to complete the course
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong Communication – Skills Preference will be given to individuals with experience
  • Completing ergonomic assessments
  • Working with insurance & Government agencies
  • Functional Capacity Evaluations (experience and/or certifications)
  • In-clinic experience
  • Gathering physical demands descriptions and ergonomics risk assessments
  • A passion for learning new software
  • Return-to-work planning, implementation, and monitoring
  • Working in ergonomics
  • Working with software development and training.
