Job Summary:

Reporting to a Manager/Rehabilitation Coordinator, the Senior Therapist is responsible for the planning, development, organization and delivery of therapy services within the framework of the interdisciplinary team.  The Senior Therapist provides training, coaching, mentoring and guidance to staff therapists and other team members.


Minimum requirement is a Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy from a program which is recognized by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.  Must be licensed by the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists and be eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.  Requires CPR certification.


Minimum two (2) years of experience with a preference given for experience with Third party insurance, Secondary/Tertiary level rehabilitation.  Related experience in orthopedics are an asset.  Certification in FCE protocol an asset.

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.  This vacancy is for position #39656.
