Description

The Saskatoon Community Clinic is a primary health care service provider.  We are Saskatoon’s only primary health care Cooperative.  Our ultimate goal is to build a healthy population by offering support that focuses on healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, patient education and diagnosis and treatment.

Our inter-disciplinary group of salaried health professionals work together as a team to provide a wide range of services and programs in two Saskatoon locations.

We are looking for a part-time physical therapist to add to our team.

Duties:
To assess and plan patients programs and provide treatment as required.
To educate patients/members re: prevention of injury and disease management.
To document all patient assessments, treatments, progress and discharge notes.
To maintain and develop co-operative liaison with physicians and other members of the health team.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Canadian accredited physical therapy program or equivalent
  • B.Sc.PT , MPT or equivalent
  • Registered with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapists
  • 2 years-experience in an outpatient setting preferred
  • Manual therapy skills an asset
  • Background in other areas of clinical practice preferred.
  • C.P.A. membership recommended
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and application
  • Must have knowledge of and compatibility with the philosophy of Saskatoon Community Clinic (CHSA).
  • Must be bondable.
