Facility Details / Hours of Operation

The FIT for Active Living Program provides tertiary level assessment and rehabilitation for clients with musculoskeletal injuries who have complex needs secondary to a motor vehicle collision. The program utilizes a holistic interdisciplinary model of assessment to determine the most appropriate level of rehabilitation treatment.

Hours of operation are generally Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Located on the 8th floor of Saskatoon City Hospital.

Referral Requirements / Wait List Information

Referred by Saskatchewan Government Insurance for tertiary assessment following clearance by primary practitioner.

Wait times for the initial interdisciplinary assessment are targeted at 3 weeks. Wait times for admission to treatment once a client has been assessed as appropriate for tertiary level rehabilitation are targeted at 30 days. Client intakes typically occur on a 2 week cycle.
